Small museum with photos, documents & artifacts related to Korean immigrant history in Yucatan
The old premises of the Korean Association located on 65th Street No. 397 A between 44 and 46 Downtown, has been set up so that visitors can take a tour from the first news about this immigration through the participation of Koreans in the henequenero boom, the formation of associations, their naturalization as Mexicans, the merger and exchange with Mexican society, some samples of the historical promotion of Korean immigration to Yucatan until reaching the most recent activities such as visits by Government Ambassadors Korean to Merida, the activities of the current Association and the celebration of the centenary of Korean immigration to Mexico.
