The main building of the State Museum of the National Cultural Center of Turkmenistan

The exhibition is located on two floors and consists of eight rooms. On the ground floor a circular space forms a hall, the dome of which is divided into sixteen hemispheres and supported by twenty five columns. In the center of the atrium formed located state symbols: the flag, coat of arms, as well as a display of documents on the Independence, Neutrality, on the anthem, flag and constitution. The first room is dedicated to the Independence of Turkmenistan, achievements that have been implemented over the years. Here is the grand architecture of the cities, churches, fortresses, as well as the high skill of ancient craftsmen, potters, jewelers. They are perfectly adept at manufacturing products from microscopic gold, turquoise and carnelian. Gold and silver vessels admire the elegance and refinement. A large number of seals and cosmetic accessories made of silver, bronze, stone, bone, decorated with scenes of mystical mythology, amazing variety of shapes and technology. Antiquity Hall tells about one of the first capitals of the Great Parthian Empire Old Nisa, which was the residence and the treasury of the Parthian rulers. The room contains a unique architecture fragments, miniature figurines Athens, Eros, eagle, griffin of silver with gold that affect thin study of small parts. The special pride of the museum are rhytons ivory frieze which was ornamented with scenes from Greek mythology, smooth trunk decorated with floral reliefs and completes the image of a mythical creature
