The Estonian Open Air Museum (Est. Eesti Vabaõhumuuseum) is a museum of rural traditional architecture in Estonia, located in Tallinn, in the Rokka al Mare district. The museum, founded on May 22, 1957, occupies 79 hectares and includes (as of 2005) 72 buildings, most of which are arranged in 11 farmsteads, united, in turn, in four territorial groups: Western Estonia, Northern Estonia, South Estonia and the Islands. In addition to farm facilities, the museum features public buildings (chapel, village shop, school, etc.), located individually or in groups.
