House Kirsty
Kirsti house, located in the Finnish town of Rauma, is a complex of buildings on the bank of river Rauma, created in the XVIII - XIX centuries. The main building is a typical one-story wooden house. The house has two rooms, the interiors of which tell about the life of urban residents. At various times it belonged to the House Kirsty sailors, workers, lacemakers. The first owners of the forest was a merchant family, and then for nearly two centuries, the house belonged to a family of sailors. Until now, the window has two dogs figurines made of faience. It is a symbol with a value: if the dog muzzle turned to the street - the owner of the house went to sea when they look inside - a sailor and you can come back to visit him.
