Miniatures Museum of Taiwan
The Miniatures Museum of Taiwan is the first museum to collect miniatures in Asia. The museum was founded on March 28, 1997 by Mr Lin Wen-ren and his wife. It is located in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan.
A showcase of one-of-a-kind treasures from miniature artisans, the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan guides travellers through various locales such as Buckingham Palace (at one-twelfth scale of course!) and other famous European destinations, as well as other street and local scenes from destinations worldwide.
The following exhibitions are on display: Rose Mansion, A Street Scene, Going On Tour, Ting Ting's Room, Gentleman's Heaver, Jack & Beanstalk, Miniature Accessory, Gulliver's Travel, Classic Cars, Faded Glory, English Castle, Thunder River, Traditional Shops in Japan, Buckingham Palace, as well as a special exhibition room and museum shop.
