Necropolis Sammallahdenmyaki
Sammallahdenmäki - necropolis of the Bronze Age, in the period from XVI - VI century BC. The funeral complex has 36 granite stone burial mounds in the shape of pyramids. This is one of the most important structures of the Bronze Age in Finland. At the end of the XIX century archaeologist Voltaire Hogmanom four mound was excavated that yielded unique evidence of burial customs, social and religious structures of northern Europe, three thousand years ago.
