Saluting Battery
Salute Battery - An artillery battery in Valletta, Malta. It was built in the 16th century by the Order of St. John on or near the site of the Ottoman battery of the Great Siege of Malta. The battery forms the lower tier of the bastion of St. Peter and Paul on the Front of Valletta, located under the Upper Garden of Barracca with a view of Fort St.
